equity equality,..



as adapted from book written by mohd. (2008), james march and herbert simon introduced the reward-contribution theory which was later known as the theory of equity,.. which later fall under the group of theories of social comparison, based on the way human think or also known as cognitive,..

social comparison theory focused on the perceptions and one’s feeling regarding whether they considered of getting a fair treatment when compared to other individuals,.. when someone feel what they received was unfair, they become unsatisfied with it,.. thus, that feeling motivates them to change the situation until their satisfaction fulfilled,..

one’s contribution are called their input, whereas what they received are rewards,.. examples of input and results are time, money, energy, feasibility, skills, loyalty, love etc.,.. when one assumed that the ratio of input and result was fair, they will be satisfied,.. as a consequence, they became motivated in doing their task,.. but, if they feel the ratio is unfair, they will slowly loose their effort,.. however, what considered as fair and unfair is totally depends on one’s perception,..

according to this theory, one will be satisfied when there are equality between input and rewards,.. they will feel guilty when they get rewards that are higher than the contribution they give,.. as a result, they tend to correct the condition so that equality exist,.. the degree of guilt one feel correlates with how big is the excess of rewards they get,..
this is also true on the contrary,.. when rewards they received is inappropriate with what their contribute, they become unsatisfied,.. as a result, they tend to change the situation,..

mohd. (2008) in her book, listed and elaborated six ways how ones correct the ratio between contribution they give with rewards they received which they assume not in balance, which are:

  • change they contribution,..
  • change rewards they received,..
  • fluctuating assumptions on their inputs and rewards,..
  • changing the objects of comparison,..
  • escape from the current situation,..

after finished all the labwork for today, my colleague and i met my supervisor at RMIC discussing about our current progress, troubleshooting the problem faced and learning about mathematical modelling,.. resting my mind, play some games at the postgrad room - PES 2010 and Counter Strike: Condition Zero with fauzan, hafiz until kak asmah, ainnu, hazwan, zana and ida came,.. with hazwan recommendation, finally ainnu and kak asmah became interested in opening their first blog,.. yeayy!! suddently, i felt a wave of motivation to blog!! XD haahahaha!!

creative individuals,..


Dacey and Ripple as in book written by Mohd. (2008) stated characters of very creative individuals:


  • they are more sensitive on the presence of problem in their surroundings.
  • they can easily get emotion and mental disturbance, but they can manage it.
  • they can think analytically and intuitively, simultaneously.
  • they can think in convergent, which is by solving problem with only one correct answer.
  • they can also think in divergent, solving problem that has many possible correct answers.
  • they show very high dedication and enthusiasm in their task.
  • they may have above average IQ but not falls into genius.
  • they are more open towards new experience and willing to accept new ideas.
  • the are responsible on what is happening on themselves, and not easily blame others for it.
  • they like exciting and likes to play with various ideas.
  • they have their own independent thought, and they are not influenced by other people's thought.
  • they are not afraid to follow their instinct and ready to treat their hidden emotion.
  • they like to follow their own plan, do their own decision and they can drive their own thinking.
  • they dislike to work with others and they like to judge their own work negligent others.
  • that is why, they dislike to ask for other's opinion.
Internal opinion is emotional drive and mental willpower for creative people. When faced with complex and tough problems, creative people tend to think positively. When they are asked to give opinion, they give various types of idea. Most of it became the laughing stock for people. When they are criticized, they defend their ideas. In certain irregular circumstances, they showed their characteristics of resourcefulness and creativity.

petang yang sunyi,..


seawal jam 7 pagi aku bangun, mandi dan bersiap untuk berjalan kaki ke kampus. sampai di kampus jam belum lagi pukul 8 pagi, tp hazwan telah pun berada di BK,.. "internet hari ni lembab sikit la aman,.." katanya,.. tanpa membuang masa, aku mula menaip sedikit demi sedikit laporan makmal subjek SBA 4405 yang perlu dihantar esok,.. pada masa yg sama, aku juga menunggu kedatangan mukriz dan ainu,.. mukriz, partner game multiplayerku, heehe,..

tiga puluh minit selepas jam 12 tengah hari, fauzan pun dtg ke BK,.. tidak lama kemudian, hpku pun berbunyi. dapat sms daripada mukriz ajak makan tengah hari kat kedai mek siam,.. aku dan fauzan pun menaiki kereta waja nya ke kedai berkenaan,.. sampai sahaja di kedai, aku mengajak kak asmah untuk join sekali,.. selepas itu, kami pun kembali ke BK,.. apa lagi, aku dan mukriz pun mulakan operasi CnC: Generals,.. dua game siap, satu menang satu kalah,..

pada jam 6 ptg, rakan-rakanku mula balik ke rumah masing-masing,.. tak tahan dengan kebosanan BK, aku pun keluar untuk merasa udara petang,.. hari ni cuti, jadi kampus pun sunyi sepi,.. aku tak jadi ke pantai UMT, kerana ramai geng-geng bujang yg tengah sibuk bermain bola tampar,.. berdiri sebentar di jambatan, aku pun menelefon kak asmah,.. saje bual-bual nak hilangkan boring sikit,..



sunyi dan bosan, teringat pulak lama dah tak tulis blog,.. jadi terblog pulak coretan hidup untuk hari ni, dan buat julung kalinya juga dalam bahasa ibunda,.. duduk di BK, bunyi air-cond. saje yg kedengaran,.. cuaca di luar dah semakin gelap,.. 

bosannyer duduk sorang2,..

another drought of idea, a long break,..


two months of break, finally the new saga begin,.. hee,.. the next chapter of life, final semester of msc. study in peaceful campus of UMT,.. worrying of what will happen in the future, unpromising status of current emotion and internal perception,.. but, focusing towards negativity waste energy,.. just think positively, and look ahead with motivated mentality!!
